Abstract: | Coaching is in widespread use across the NSW public sector. This paper provides results of a survey of NSW public sector agencies conducted by IPAA. The paper also gives details of a case study of the use of coaching by NSW Department of Corrective Services as part of its Career Development Program. Evaluations of that program indicate that coaching is being successfully used to improve leadership skills, enhance career progress and increase work satisfaction. |
